The information on the Carter Family came from the book "The Carter
Family, A Genealogical History of the Descendants of Alexander Carter".
I include this in my tree because it is a history of my wife's ancestors
on her grandfathers side of the family. The book was compiled by Clella
Mae Carter, whom my wife says just recently passed away. Exerts of the
